Terms of Use (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("EULA" or "Terms") is a legal agreement between you and DuttLabs for the use of RecipeBox Pro - Meal Planner ("RecipeBox"). Please read these Terms carefully before using RecipeBox.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using RecipeBox, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

RecipeBox is a mobile application that allows you to save, organize, and access your personal recipe collection across your Apple devices. Features include recipe management, meal planning, shopping lists, cooking mode, AI recipe generation, and more.

User Accounts

RecipeBox uses your Apple ID and iCloud account for syncing data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID credentials.

Subscriptions and Payments

Free Trial

RecipeBox offers a 7-day free trial of Premium features. No payment is required to start the trial. The trial begins when you first launch the app.

Premium Subscription

After your trial ends, Premium features are available through monthly ($0.99/month) or yearly ($9.99/year) subscriptions
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings

Lifetime Purchase

The lifetime purchase ($14.99) provides permanent access to all Premium features without recurring charges, including all future updates.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly through the App Store.

User Content

You retain ownership of all recipes and content you create in RecipeBox. You grant us no rights to your content. Your content is stored in your personal iCloud account.

AI-Generated Content

RecipeBox includes AI-powered features that generate recipe suggestions using Apple Intelligence:

AI-generated recipes are provided for informational purposes and should be reviewed before use
You are responsible for verifying ingredient safety, allergens, and cooking instructions
AI-generated content may not always be accurate or suitable for your dietary needs
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated recipes
You own any AI-generated recipes you choose to save to your collection

Share Extension

The RecipeBox Share Extension allows you to import recipes from external sources:

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use imported content
Imported recipes may be subject to copyright by their original creators
We recommend using imported recipes for personal use only
We are not responsible for the accuracy of imported content

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
Interfere with the app's operation or security features
Use the app to store or transmit malicious content

Intellectual Property

RecipeBox and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

RecipeBox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the app.

License Grant

DuttLabs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use RecipeBox on Apple-branded products that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by email.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
